The heart that loves us is God.

They say, “God is dead,” because they do not love; and because they do not love, they do not know God. God is present on Earth in every heart which loves, and there, He works miracles every day. The greatest miracle is when a soul looks inwards upon itself with deep loathing, sorry for its sins; then turns to God, and says, “forgive me.”

This is how you know that God is very much alive; when you see a man change and want to become a better person.
