What’s a moment when you realized you were officially an adult?

One drop of mercy,
has shattered Satan's kingdom;
one drop of his blood.

When I was married, I was forced out of my comfort, out of my home. I had lived a life of fasting, a life sleeping on a cold, cement basement floor; but these things did not bother me. It was something of a security blanket; and when torn from my grasp, this was much more difficult to bear than hunger and cold.

I pray each day not to lose my home.

Having a place where I can arrange my things, and trust that when tomorrow comes, everything is right; to me, this is far more precious than gold.

I pray each day not to lose my home.

The sound of sirens blaring, is all I hear tonight; that I shall taste of God’s Divine Justice; and it shall be in proportion to all the prayers I have said over the past eight and a half years. They murder me. In their hearts, when they see my name; with a click of their mouse, or a swipe over their phone, they try to erase me. But I have become the cockroach; this is my superpower, to keep coming back, no matter how much poison they spray.

In my heart, I am forever 13; and that heart has been broken millions of times. Yet, it still loves like the first time.
