The Holy Name of Jesus Christ holds in it all power in Heaven and on Earth, but it requires faith when spoken. Faithlessness is cowardice, and tucks the tail between the legs in the presence of enemies. It takes courage to stand before armies and invoke his name before them; so trusting in his power, in his glory, that he alone does will all things within creation.

As I stood at the precipice of a great pool of void and darkness, it was in Greek that I found courage; and in a promise. And the tides of death washed over me, but did not harm me.

When we learn to fall, as Richard Rohr teaches; we fall upwards. As we place all of our miseries and weaknesses into the hands of our Creator; He holds us; He protects us; He wages war against our enemies.

Do You think that God prefers strong warriors to little helpless children; I think not.
