I am the serpent, you the queen,
beneath your foot, I strike;
lowering Eve into nothing but dirt.
I do not keep commandments,
nor do I eat the fat of the land;
but I am dust eating dust.
When the books are read,
I am like the desert sand;
because I hear my name,
as starlight, grasping the stars.
O Moon, shed light on me,
and guide me ever on my path;
for it is in your grace I see.
Over the hill, I see a virgin,
the mother of a child;
her name once belonged to me.
I oscillate, this is my task,
going hither & thither.
One drop of his blood,
was enough to conquer Hell;
an ocean of YHVH's mercy.
Bleed a little for me, O Jesus,
for I have bled forever;
going to the utmost boundary,
so that tonight you have comfort.
Here, in hand, I hold ink,
where all black is purified.
