Eighth Station

I have traveled through time,
into the center of all creation;
from where life springs forth.

The tree at the center of the garden,
upon it hangs the fruit of life;
who had no guile in him at all,
The Sinless One,
pierced open by a Roman spear.

From the edge of a precipice, I dove,
but God spared me my life;
as Mary Magdalene was spared her life.

The fruit, once robbed from Eve,
is ripe for the picking;
for Eden has been opened to humanity.

O Fountain of Youth,
where we may live forever;
and never die!

Those who see it, have entered,
drinking in life eternal;
the cup of his blood & water.

The tree now is dry,
O daughters of Jerusalem;
weep and mourn for your children!

Earth, devoured by the greed of men,
in its desolation, cries out;
"justice upon mankind!"

Yet mercy hangs upon his cross.
